Armstrong Flooring: A Synonym for Versatility,
Durability and Cost
Effectiveness
The Armstrong Flooring Company is a 150 old company; old enough
for it to build an excellent reputation for itself and a loyal
and satisfied clientele of millions of people across the globe.
Today, Armstrong flooring is synonymous with quality,
durability and cost effectiveness.
Based on the current technology and the demands placed by
today’s populace, the Armstrong flooring introduced a new
product called Armstrong Laminate Flooring, which can easily
replace any type of modern flooring. The highest in demand
today are hardwood, ceramic tiles, stone floors, mostly due to
two main factors, i.e. cost effectiveness, and high durability
(allows rough usage and needs low maintenance). The new
Armstrong flooring offers both these factors at highly
competitive cost.
The Branching Out of Armstrong Flooring
The Armstrong Laminate comes in three main varieties: wood
laminate, stone laminate and textured laminate. The wood
laminate is the most popular since people all over the world
are still in love with the look and feel of wood. Besides, the
wood finish provides excellent insulation for both cold and hot
climates. The stone laminate imitates stone and/or ceramic look
and is used by people both for flooring and for wall paneling
(in a few cases). The textured laminate is not yet as popular
as the other products; nonetheless, it has all the benefits
that the other Armstrong offer, i.e. durability, cost
effectiveness and high quality.
Responding to the need for the common person to get the best
value for his/her money, the Armstrong flooring came out with
do-it-yourself kits for making the installation of the floor
easy and highly economical. There are two types of these DIY
floorings, i.e. glue less – where the flooring has a certain
type of interlocking system, which can be set by any layperson
without any difficulty; the other DIY type has glue already
attached to the flooring and hence, needs to be a little
moistened before installation. Both the ways are easy to apply
with no hassles whatsoever.
There is a third method, which requires professional
intervention. This type has the glue and the flooring separate
and hence, it is best handled by people who are experienced at
this job. The Armstrong flooring comes with moisture barrier
and a minimum thickness that is much thicker than the average
laminated floorings available in the market. Besides, it has
advanced features such as aluminum oxide coating, which sets it
aside from its competition and justifies its popularity all
over the world.
